2.    How does it work?

1. Activate pet tag & create your pet's online profile
2. Attach pet tag to your cat or dog
3. If pet goes missing finder calls ReturnMoi
4. ReturnMoi calls pet owner with pet’s location
5. ReturnMoi rewards finder with a $50 gift pack of ReturnMoi products*

What happens if your pet is lost?

3.    My pet is already microchiped, why would I need a ReturnMoi pet tag?
With over 20 different microchip companies and dozens of different scanner models you can only pray that the finder will go out of his or her way to find a shelter with the right scanner. There are a large number of veterinarians that don’t even own a scanner with the ability to read chips. Furthermore, many shelters and veterinarians aren’t open after 6pm.

4.    How does ReturnMoi protect my privacy?
ReturnMoi will never disclose the pet owners contact information to the finder. ReturnMoi will give the owner the finders contact information so both the owner and finder can arrange a convenient pickup place and time.

5.    How long are ReturnMoi Pet tags good for and how much does it cost?
For only $11.95, you get a complete 2-year recovery service. During this time, if your pet goes missing and is found by ReturnMoi you will not pay any recovery or adminstrative fees or need to pay any reward to the finder. After 2 years, enjoy all the services, support and protection for only $7.95 per year or $19.95 for 3 years.

Please note, failure to activate the ID number will result in a $39.99 recovery fee in the event your pet is found.

6.  What is the reward and who pays for it?
After your animal has been safely returned to you, ReturnMoi will reward the finder with a $50 gift pack of ReturnMoi products. You may also chose to give an additional reward (monetary, gift etc) to the finder, however this is completely optional and at your discretion.

7.    Why don’t I just write or engrave my own name and number on a pet tag ?
For several reasons:
a. With the rise of identity theft, police and government agencies recommend to put any personal information on anything you own.

b. ReturnMoi tags are both professional and appealing. In addition they won't rip, smudge, or fade.

c. Finally, if your address or phone number changes, you can update your personal information online and the change automatically links to all your ReturnMoi activated labels and tags.

d. Finders are motivated to call because ReturnMoi’s system is simple, convenient, confidential and rewarding.

8.    Does ReturnMoi work internationally?
Most definitely. Finders outside North America contact ReturnMoi through the website or toll-free number. ReturnMoi contacts the owner immediately to help facilitate the return of their pet.

9.    How do I register and activate an item?

11.    I received a free pet tag. What do I do now?

12.  Why would someone call? What do they get out of it?
Most finders want to return missing animals, especially if it is convenient, easy, and doesn't cost them anything. By having the words REWARD on each ReturnMoi pet tag, it motivates the finder to contact ReturnMoi via the toll-free number or website address printed on the tags. The finder is given a free one-year ReturnMoi service contract as their reward and any cash reward you decide on. ReturnMoi will confirm your cash reward with you at the time of the recovery before revealing this information to a finder. Over 90% of pets with a ReturnMoi tag are back home safely within 24 hours.

13. What does it cost to get my pet back?
ReturnMoi charges no recovery fees as long as you have a yearly subscription (see above) ReturnMoi customers are only responsible to arrange the pick up of their pets in a timely fashion. ReturnMoi will not charge any fees up to 2 times per year, if your pet goes missing the 3rd time than ReturnMoi will ask for you to renew your service.

14. I will be giving my pet to someone else, can I transfer over the pet tag to the new pet owner?
Absolutely. You can transfer the benefit of ReturnMoi protection to the new owner (at no cost) by deleting the ID number from your account. That will enable the new owner to register that ID number with their contact information.
